Rachel served as State Representative for District 56 in the Florida House of Representatives from 2008-2012. At that time, she was the youngest Republican woman ever elected to the Florida Legislature. During her time in office, Rachel served as the Vice-Chairman of the Transportation & Economic Development and Agriculture Committees. She also served on the Education, Higher Education Appropriations, Elder and Senior Healthcare Policy, Rules, and Redistricting Committees.
Prior to being elected, Rachel served her community on the local and state levels with the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners. She also served at the White House Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives under President George W. Bush.
Rachel is passionate about educating and equipping legislators to advance policies that promote individual liberties. Currently, she serves as Strategic Director with AFP’s Education and Training Department.
