Hon. Marilinda Garcia was first elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives in 2006, at 23 years of age, and served four terms. In 2014 she won the Republican nomination for New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District. During her time in elected office, Marilinda focused on economic development, transparency, and regulatory reform in healthcare and the innovation industry.
Ms. Garcia earned her B.A., cum laude, from Tufts University in 2006 and concurrently completed a B.M. with Academic Honors and Distinction in Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. In 2010 she graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government where she received a Master of Public Policy.
Since 2015, Marilinda has worked with The LIBRE Initiative and Americans for Prosperity in some capacity, as a LIBRE National Spokesperson and Senior Federal Affairs Liaison for AFP government affairs.
