Chad Garrison
Instructional Design Specialist, Capitol Leaders

Chad Garrison spent his youth near the city of New Orleans, where he developed a fascination for the “spice” of Louisiana politics.  Due to his father’s work with local political figures, he gained influence as a political and faith-based activist.  Chad later used this “influence” in support of notable political figures such as current US Representative, Steve Scalise.

His passion for conservative principles lead Chad to create and host Talkin’ Back, a unique radio talk show broadcast on WGSO in New Orleans.  Beyond politics, the show featured substantive discussion of solutions to problems such as poverty and crime.

With a firm belief in the notion that people of faith should take part in changing the world’s moral landscape, Chad founded Living Word Fellowship Church and Garrison Institute (501c3).  For these achievements, Chad was recognized as one of Louisiana’s Influential Pastors and was invited to attend monthly policy luncheons with Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal.

With more than twenty years’ experience as a corporate educator and communications expert, he has taught at world-renowned training organizations such as Leadership Institute (LI) in Arlington, VA.  Chad has also served as a speechwriter and communication coach for some of Washington DC’s most influential movement leaders.  Currently, he is serving as the Instructional Design Specialist for Americans for Prosperity’s Capitol Leaders Program.
